ArchiveBridge is a GeeIT product that Cloud Ready Solutions distributes. It archives aged files out of SharePoint Online to Wasabi object storage, leaves a reference stub in place, and reclaims tenant storage immediately, with real reclaimed-GB and dollar figures, not projections.
It's multi-tenant and installs beside CentreStack on a Windows Server: a Blazor dashboard in IIS plus a companion Windows Service that runs the heavy jobs on a Hangfire schedule.
Scanning is read-only, and every archive is hashed, uploaded and verified before the original is removed, and each step is persisted, so a retry always resumes safely.
Free up the quota without losing the file.
The whole job is a careful three-step loop with safety built into every hop. Checked-out, retention-locked and legal-hold files are skipped or routed to a manual-review queue, so nothing risky moves on its own.
Read-only. Find the cold weight.
- Walks every SharePoint site and library
- Flags files past a cutoff date and over a minimum size
- Reports reclaimable GB and projected $ before touching a thing
Move it, prove it, reclaim it.
- Download → SHA-256 hash → upload to Wasabi → verify
- Leaves a small “.txt” reference stub in place
- Permanently deletes the original: quota freed now, not later
Nothing is a one-way door.
- Pulls the object back from Wasabi on demand
- Re-verifies the hash before it lands
- Re-uploads to the original path and removes the stub
“Reclaim SharePoint storage immediately — with real reclaimed-GB and dollar figures, not projections.”
